Whilst everything we make should last a long time, you can maintain the appearance of your jewellery and prolong its life by following a few simple steps.

Please remove your Little Magpye jewellery before sleeping, showering, exercising or undertaking any other activity that may damage it, for example, DIY. Prolonged exposure to water or sweat can cause permanent damage to some pieces.

Avoid dropping your jewellery on hard floors or other hard surfaces as this can cause gemstones, Artisan components or the whole jewellery piece to weaken or break.

Apply perfume, moisturiser, sun cream or any other lotion or potion before putting on your jewellery, you may also wish to remove any rings before applying hand sanitiser. Sprays, soaps and creams can tarnish or damage some metals and Artisan components, especially Jesmonite, polymer clay and fabrics.

Although reinforced with hard-wearing eco vinyl, our fabric jewellery can still tear if caught or pulled forcibly, so please be careful when putting it on or doing anything where it may be pulled, for example when playing with children.

Store your jewellery in a box or bag, out of direct sunlight and away from extremes of heat or cold, to prevent tarnish or dust build up, fading or other damage. If your jewellery requires a clean, a quick buff with a clean dry cloth will usually suffice.

All Little Magpye jewellery comes wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and/or in a pretty paper bag, ready for gifting. Kraft gift boxes are also available for a small additional cost, please contact me before ordering if you’d like one.

If you’re purchasing this item as a gift and would like it to be sent directly to the recipient, I’m happy to do so and to include a handwritten note with a personal message from you, just let me know in the order notes at checkout if you’d like a note including. You can provide an alternative shipping address at checkout too.

As part of our efforts to be more environmentally aware, we don’t include printed invoices or order notes in your package as standard, these can be printed from your customer account or included in your parcel upon request.
